Wow, i appologize on behalf of my lack of blog! I am sure i will one day be really good at this, but for now your just going to have to put up with my being bad at it! So today Levi is half a year old! He has traveled much and grown much since our last blog! At his 5 month check up he was 19 pounds and 6 ounces, so we estimate hes getting close to 21 pounds or so. Jon's younger brother Michael got married fathers day weekend and Levi said "mama" that same weekend. He tends to say it when hes whinning and wants me, but i dont know if he thinks..mama means milk or me, either way im both things! He has also started to crawl..or push with his toes , but hes figured out that he no longer has to roll to get places ..just full speed ahead..well as fast as he can go right now. Jon is about to go to Middle school camp...and My sister, Levi and I are flying to Florida so the grandparents can get their Levi fix! Continue to pray for the ministry at Fellowship Community Church, both as a whole and the youth ministry! Jon is doing a great job, but we are starting to try and balance our time, ect.. Its a challenge, but we love being here! Here are some picts of Levi and some of his counsins as well!. I dont have picts from the wedding downloaded yet, so i will put them up later

So..its been like a month..i guess i should post. Life is busy in the Laughing-house hold. (ha) Jon has been in and out of town going to conferences. We were able to go visit Va Beach and all the new cousins, Maddie and Benjamin. They are so cute.! Levi is growing like a week..we just had his 4 month old check up. He is 17 pounds 10 ounces and almost 26 inches!..Hes getting big! I know cause i have to carry him everywhere..and im getting some pretty big guns (muscles). Jon and I have been teaching a marraige and family class to the youth. Jon more so than me, but its been really awesome..to see them "get it". I was blessed to be able to teach at a women's conference at my friend Leigh's church in Roanoke and it went great! We will be doing more in the future! On April 15th we became a aunt and uncle again! My brother Jimmy and his wife Heather had a beautiful little girl Brynn Anabelle English. We are going to see her next week, and them too of course! So lots of babies in the English-Laughinghouse families! I have to run go get Levi..until next time!

Well, Levi is growing very fast! He will be 3 months old soon..its hard to believe! His two month check-up he weighed 12 lbs 13 ounces, so no telling how much he weighs now! He goes through clothes so quickly..i have to wash his clothes every couple of days! Hes so cute though, starting to really use his voice..Likes to let us know that hes there! He is also smiling and giggling alot..he thinks his dad is crazy! The weather is FINALLY getting warmer so we have been taking him on alot of walks so he is seeing alot of new things! Hes very strong..and active..so im getting nervous about him walking in the future! He is excited to meet his new cousins Maddie and Benjamin at the end of the month. Then in may his new cousin Bren who will be arriving in april! Here are some more picts.

Levi had his One month check-up today! He is 10 pounds 6 ounces! I think he will be walking by next appointment!

"The Thinker"

Levi is 1 month old..its hard to believe!...Hes already getting so big! We had a 10 day check up and he was back to his birth weight. He has another appointment on Monday, so we will see how big he has gotten! I call him a little lion when it comes time to eat..he literally makes this cute growling noise! OH and his funny face that lets us know hes hungry! Sleep is a lovely thing. Although i dont usually get more than a couple hours at a time, unless Aunty Beth comes over! She is a blessing! Since she has started night shifts at the hospital, she has to stay up all night on her days off..soooo she wants to watch Levi at night!...We limit her to one night a week, so she keeps aunt status and not nanny status! Life has changed, but its a good change. Levi fits right in...hes our funny little man. He has been alot of fun. Hes very curious! He loves to look around and study things. Jon is already trying to teach him to preach! We cant quit figure out who he looks like, because he is a good mix of Jon and I...my feet, eyes, nose, His hands, mouth and chin...so hes a english/laughinghouse mutt! I stare at him and think...wow..its so amazing...God has trusted us to raise this little life..a bit overwelming , yet exciting..I pray He helps me to be a good mom and wife ..its a crazy balance between the two already. Its a race, while hes asleep or content, to clean, cook, wash clothes!..But im learning!...My attitude is alot better if i have slept..haha....if i havent..its grilled cheese for dinner..haha.... Well So begins the mommy diaries....Oh and i have already gotten peed on a couple times!

So im sorry its been so long since i posted, but i have a good excuse, we have a baby! Not just any baby, the coolest baby in the world! Our due date was the 15th of December. My parents arrived on the 14th. I had gone to the doctor the week before and i was 2 centimeters dialated and 50% effaced, so we thought Levi would come early. But my parents came, my due date came, but no baby came. My next appointment , i was 3 centimeters and 90% effaced. So i thought it would be any minute! We schedualed a induction for the 21st, but i thought surely he will come by then. I mean i ate a whole pineapple, spicy food, long walks, cleaning like a fool, and my belly just kept growing. The doctor estimated a 8 pound baby (remember this). So Friday the 21st came and it was time to go to the hospital. We got there at 7:30am, they broke my water at 9:30. But i wasnt progressing so they started me on petocin. But i still wasnt progressing, so they gave me more. Thats when i got an epidural! It was a long day and both Jon and I were pretty tired. At 9:30 pm, it was time to start pushing. It was such a sureal and amazing experience to go through with Jon. We decided that we just wanted him, the doctor and nurse in the room. Jon put on some mellow music, i think it was Jack Johnson, or our wedding cd. My doctor dimmed the lights. He was really great and laid back. It made it alot more relaxing. Jon was the best coach..oh and photographer. Did i mention he filmed the whole thing? I didnt want him to, but he promised that it would be graphic free. So in between pushes he ran to take pictures and make sure the video camera was working properly. Anyone who knows Jon is not surprised by this. He finally arrived at 10:58pm, December 21st. It was so peaceful..i held him then they took him to clean and weigh him. SO 8 pounds?..no..9 pounds 4.9 ounces. WHAT? That just came out of me. Well it took an epeziodomy (sp?). After that the peacefulness became a bit caotic. Apparently i wouldnt stop bleeding. Without going into any gorry details, i lost the volume of blood that i gained from the pregnancy. But Dr. Kealy was awesome and got it under control. I was very much out of it. On alot of drugs and very tired. After recovering the family finally got to come in at 1 am. But it was worth the wait! Levi Corbin Laughinghouse is precious. I think he is the most beautiful thing ive ever seen. And its even more amazing to look at him and know that he is part of me and Jon. I cant wait to see more of his personality. Right now hes really laid back and go with the flow. When he cries its so cute, i start to laugh. Hes very observant of everything around him. He will just look at you and study your face. Here are some pictures. We love you all and thankyou for all of your prayers and support!
